Anyway….After hours of searching for a solution, I came across Tunecable. I was dubious to say the least, but found amongst its many products, a potential solution! Downloaded the demo, gave it a try and OMG!!! 🤯 Perfection! The interface is so easy to navigate and whilst the process time is not instant, it’s worth the wait, I’d say about 1 minute per 5 minute track. The results are spot on, almost like for like when comparing before and after waveforms. This is now my serious ‘go to’ converter as a stage in my reference and recording process! CHECK IT OUT at TUNECABLES website (Google it!) I was also pleased to see they’ve expanded their offering to other streaming platforms and was amazed to see they have a solution when it comes to spotify. One thing that would be good as a potential upgrade to their product, but by no means a necessity, is the possibility to have more control over bit depth when selecting file type to convert too…but that’s just a nice to have! When doing my research i noticed a lot of people complaining about the customer service - So far my experience has been excellent and very responsive - I hope this continues and evolves in as a positive direction as the product itself
