A little disconcerting when I found the $1.00 charge to actually be $2.00 before I saw my report. I felt as if I was being led into a recurring charge arrangement. One of those satisfaction membership kind of things, where it is $1.00 now and your credit card then is charged every month unless you jump through some technical loophole to stop the charges. I will need some experience with the site before I really trust it.

Most of this information is easily accessible on either Zillow.com, Trulia.com or other free sites. However, the Propertyrecordlookup.com service is a great presentation and throws in some other things which you would have to hunt down elsewhere, like sex offenders. Also, it provides a pretty good inspection checklist that is a great start for any home buyer, a great start for quizzing your inspector to make sure he did a good job.
