A little disconcerting when I found the $1.00 charge to actually be $2.00 before I saw my report. I felt as if I was being led into a recurring charge arrangement. One of those satisfaction membership kind of things, where it is $1.00 now and your credit card then is charged every month unless you jump through some technical loophole to stop the charges. I will need some experience with the site before I really trust it.

Convenient and friendly service, quick responses Propertyrecordlookup.com is a very consumer-friendly way to gather information about a property and it's neighborhood--location of public establishments such as schools and hospitals and libraries, sex offenders, a google map street view and some basic facts about the property (bedrooms, heating and cooling systems, square footage of home and lot, etc). Most of this information is easily accessible on either Zillow.com, Trulia.com or other free sites. However, the Propertyrecordlookup.com service is a great presentation and throws in some other things which you would have to hunt down elsewhere, like sex offenders. Also, it provides a pretty good inspection checklist that is a great start for any home buyer, a great start for quizzing your inspector to make sure he did a good job. Overall a great service, that was worth the $1 paid.

Information easy to read, but not complete The report has a lot of information I couldn't find such as the APN. However, the basic information such as who the property owner is was and what they paid was not there. That is what I was looking for. I received the missing information via email within minutes when I requested it. Very helpful.
