Tricky but almost happy Despite help from software, bear in mind that the process is heavily manual. I admit I felt uneasy all along. Eventually, the transfer has been quite complete. The only apparent flaw is that quite some contacts appear as phone numbers, even if they seem to belong to my contact book.

Mobitrix WhatsApp Transfer did the job… Mobitrix WhatsApp Transfer did the job of transferring my entire WhatsApp history from an old iPhone 6s Plus to a new Google Pixel 6a. It is quite a job and you have to carefully follow the instructions and be prepared for some failures during this 'learning' phase. Mobitrix's support were excellent and responded quickly to my issue. There is one big consideration that you must be aware of: restoration is to the Developer Version of WhatsApp not the version that is verified as safe from the Google Playstore. This makes me somewhat uneasy but between Apple, Google and WhatsApp there is no other clean way (that actually works!) to do this. I did try the recommended WhatsApp transfer using a cable between my iPhone and factory reset Pixel 6a but no joy after at least 5 attempts.

Whatsapp transfer from Android to iPhone worked!! It worked!! I purchased a new iPhone for my Dad. My dad had a very old Android with lots of Whatsapp content that he didn't want to lose. We tried to move it over to his new iPhone and it wouldn't automatically bring everything over. I downloaded Mobitrix to my laptop and was able to connect both devices and successfully move ALL of my Dad's old Whatsapp content, videos, chats, etc. THANK YOU Mobitrix!!
