USFinally switched from Zoho Mail Free Context and Past Provider information: I had been using Zoho Mail on the free tier for three years with five domains, four of which were forwarding to the one. I needed to forward emails to a specific Gmail address, but Gmail would not accept them at all. Fortunately, the emails were too important to not be able to send, and the recipient had an address other than Gmail. And on top of that experience the lock in to using Zohos specific applications and them locking down stuff like IMAP which prevent fast and easy backups/transfers of email inboxes shaped my experience. Acton taken: After that experience, I started looking for an email provider that is knowledgeable, transparent, helpful, honest and truly cares about email deliverability and their mail reputations. And so far I have no regrets paying and being a customer with them delivering on everything I was expecting and more. It took a good evening to set up all five domains with these guys, but I do not regret it. Very easy to setup multiple domains after you do the first and know where to go and what needs to be done. Easy to get live chat with the owner on discord and via their ticketing system. They take suggestions seriously. They are honest when you ask them something they do not know(was something outside of providing emails).

USI found MXroute when looking for… I found MXroute when looking for alternatives after the latest (of many) Google Suite price increases. Did some looking over several days, and even popped into the Discord sever to ask a clarifying question. Albertlento was fantastic, and helped me out right away, as well as Jarland popping in to say hello too. Setup was straightforward, as long as you follow the directions in the welcome email, and I had no trouble at all migrating ~3,000 messages in the first domain + account I set up. Let me be very upfront: If you're looking for someplace to mass message unsolicited emails (aka SPAM), don't waste your time. Your account won't last, if you even make it to the point of sign-up). If you're looking for a straight-forward, easy to use, fully functional email setup with a price that won't break the bank, then this is the one!

USPureplay email, no calendar or contact, works perfect I've been testing MXRoute for a few days. It is super solid with lots of help online. I got it working great on macOS (via Outlook and Thunderbird clients) and ios (mac Mail app). Zero problems! Super easy. Best part is that I am using a domain I'd never used with a mail service before and none of the emails sent from this account have landed in any spam folders. Nice. I cannot address any downtime having not used it long, but other commenters seem to show it's got great uptime stats (I've had some downtime with all the big players over the years). Setup could be a challenge for folks are not used to updating DNS records and doing this sort of configuration. But the tutorials there if you look.

USI was using regular webhosting email… I was using regular webhosting email for years, but as the name says - it's a hosting provider, not an email provider. A friend suggested I get future domains from cloudflare and sign up with mxroute for my emails. While I only have a basic knowledge of DNS and mail servers, I was able to set up everything I needed within a few minutes. I love all the logging functionalities mxroute has to offer - it's clearly made for admins who have to troubleshoot every once in a while.
