Stitch as I see it.… I have been a member for over 3 years and as a single man I need company. I found Stitch on Google and joined and have met many new people who are in the same position as myself. It has been extremely rewarding with always many options of events to do. It’s like a big family and as families have good and bad days, overall Stitch has filled a big void in my life and I am very thankful for that. Cheers Frank M

Making friends over 50 A wonderful way to meet new people in a safe supportive way. Especially if you have just moved into a new area or want to try something new.

STITCH- a friendship 1st group Stitch membership app. makes it easy to view various activities, events and discussions. I walk-in alone usually,as I attend many events outside of my local area; as I prefer a day out near a beach for lunch.i've always felt welcome and safe. I have already made about 500 new connections since I joined. It's a lovely way to be able to mix and mingle with people from all walks of life and cultures. There are systems in place to keep us as safe as possible and we look after one another. Recently did a bus trip to Kiama for lunch and sightseeing. Highly recommend this friendship group.

A lifeline to the world I found Stitch at a time when I was finding it hard to develop friendships. Between the online discussion groups, then later the Zoom activities and finally the in person get togethers I began to get out more and gained a new social circle and several life long friends. As my confidence regathered strength, I rejoined the online dating scene and found my new sweetheart. I've been able to share this journey with my friends in a couple of Stitch chat groups.

Great organisational skill Great organisational skill Relies on great event organisers So many diverse events in Sydney Easy to enrol Some events fill quickly - almost before they appear Need many more men. Otherwise it’s a women’s club to which a few men are invited! Not sure if “lonely” (Andrews LinkedIn page) is not a bit too direct!
