Most bad reviews are because the ads Most bad reviews are because the ads, but the paid version is excellent because offers options to listen high quality without ads and you can listen using vlc or other player. One complaint is that some channels reprises the same music a lot during the day

Itunes subscription keeps dropping Ive been with DIFM for a few years. I subscribed through Itunes for the premium service. However over the last year the account would drop off premium every month. I would write an email and they would reinstate the service. Each time asking me to drop the Itunes subscription in favor of the direct CC billing. I eventually told them I was cancelling due to regularly opening the app to ads when I was a paid premium member and the response was " great to hear your cancelling!" "please consider direct billing in future"... I will say they have been responsive and apart from very little updates in the Ambient / chill stations, its high quality streams and is on Carplay.

Finally went premium on a 30 day test… Finally went premium on a 30 day test drive just to see if the app improved or the interface lag. Nope, still cannot download for off WiFi listening like you can with almost every other platforms. The horrible lag time when selecting your choosen artist or podcast such as Universal Nation by Alex MORPH are still present, you click the listing and nothing happens, you click again thinking it hasn't registered my click, nothing happens again and again a few more times before eventually something happens, then more app lag as it loads the many other shows for this podcast artist, it's like the DB server needs optimization or more CPU/RAM allocation....still no option to fast forward thru tracks, when you come out and go back in again it feels like it has never seen you before and started from the beginning. Spotify has these points down to a tee....I want the platform to remember where I was in the same podcast. I want to be able to download, I want no application lag. Will be ending my premium trial once this over. Shame as I love Future sound of Egypt and Alex Morph, they need to jump ship to Spotify ASAP or lose listeners unless this app improves.

Great music Great music, great quality. Im very happy with this site/app and long time listener. Happy to be premium member to support the best music channel there is on the web. Listening at work, in the car and before sleeping. Discovered a lot of new tracks thanks to DI.fm

Love di.fm, premium is too expensive though Always loved listening to di.fm for over 15 years probably now? Decided to try out premium simply because of how annoying the ads are, not necessarily because there are ads but just because the ads are bad or annoying like the recent COVID ones. Got used to turning the volume down whenever they come on although not sure I'll stick with premium after this as the music quality isn't that much of a change for my ears to be worth the high price. Would definitely subscribe if it was cheaper though. Most the music I listen to on here is very old anyway so not sure what I am really gaining. Would prefer some better options maybe a smaller fee for a limited number of channels or something?
