2 hours later... nothing Downloaded a DiskInternals Partition Recovery trial, ran it on a USB stick that had reverted to RAW. The software ground away for 2 hours and found nothing. I then installed Disk Drill, which found 290 corrupted files.

I bought the software some years ago I bought the software some years ago, and now I had a problem with lost photos. The staff at disk internals went all out to sort my problem. Thank you very much.

I've tried today this software in trial… I've tried today this software in trial version and I've been impressed really when I saw its fast way of functioning and the, say, inumerous files of all types which it might be recovered.. I just wait for the best offer to buy it..and I'll have to buy an external hard drive of two or three tb to save them..since my Toshiba 931gb suddenly stop yesterday to show the files inside (because of a tv decoder connected I suppose..)

My QNAP failed My QNAP (single RAID) failed, and I couldn't get to the data. I even tried mounting it in a Linux box. I could see the partition, but didn't have any success getting to the data. Even though the disk had Linux partitions, in a last ditch effort I looked to see if there were any Windows apps that might read that type of partition. Of course there were. In just a couple of clicks I had Linux Reader installed on a Windows box, the drive connected by USB, and the partition opened. There was a warning that the RAID was broken, but I was able to access it anyway. Finally I had all my data back. It was so easy to just select the folders and choose Save, using another disk as the destination. Such an easy app to use. Thank you.
