Avoid this company and their… Avoid this company and their software.....! Back in 2008 I purchased TurboFLOORPLAN from IMSI Design. I enjoyed using it and build the first plans for a new house and several other things. I wanted to use the old drawings for a new project Unfortunately the PC was replaced and I wanted to reinstall the software on the new PC, which I could as I kept the package. However, the verification code did not work anylonger and I contacted the company by e-mail on April 17, 2023, where in a return mail was promised that an answwer would be given within 24 hours. On May 3, 2023 I followed up and I finally got an answer from customer service, which after several interactions ended up with the advice to purchase an upgrade for $129.99 and as they stated "it will read your older files" I reluctantly purchased the "upgrade", which turns out to be less intuitive and with much less functionality than the old software and it could NOT read the old files, which was the sole reason for upgrading. I sent them the old design files and they handed the ticket over to the technical department - no response yet - after 12 days...... Bad software and bad customer service!

Pay your money and take your chances...or don't. Bought the full DesignCad3D a few years ago and an up-grade to 22 early this year. This December, it wouldn't start and said I needed a new authorization code despite it working previously. Emails and two trouble tickets got no reply despite screen shots with my license in it. Moreover, the previous purchases have been deleted from my account. Apparently the tech "Cory Ower" is the only one assigned to this and isn't working, at least not on my ticket. I needed to access my previous drawings and start a new one before Christmas so I bought DesignCad2D on Black Friday. Little different interface but the files are the same. IMSI is quick to to make a sale for their software but support for prior sales is non existent. If I had more need, I'd use Corel or AutocadLT for a better interface and more reliable. User forums are stale as are many of the webpages. As it is, I'll be using the 2D to get this project done but any glitches with my $40 purchase and I'll just kiss it goodbye. If you need cheap licensed software, this may work for you in a crunch but honestly, I'd look elsewhere especially if you are new to CAD. No reason to go through the learning curve for a product that may not survive the year.
