JPPricing not clearly stated I bought PC cleaning software from this company. Price was $19.99 I presumed this was for a year - but later noticed that it was only for a month. After checking found that my credit card would be debited monthly - this wasn't made clear at time of the initial purchase. I contacted the vendor about cancelling the software and received an automated reply asking me would I like to keep the software for 99cents a month - of course I agreed to this, however I received no further information about the reduced price - also didn't show up in my "Account' info. I cancelled again and cancellation was accepted straight away - this I am grateful for, money was also returned without any problems. Buyer beware.

GBDisguising the subscription portion Disguising the subscription portion of this software is despicable and shame on me for not reading the fine print, don't be fooled there are several other legit companies with good software that won't screw you.

GBVery very dodgy. Very very dodgy. Twice advised them in response to their renewal reminder that I did not want to renew my PC Tune up Pro subscription and twice they confirmed that was OK. Dear Mr. Bell , WE RECEIVED YOUR REQUEST TO CANCEL YOUR PCTuneUp PRO SUBSCRIPTION. WE'RE SORRY TO SEE YOU GO, but our team is happy to help! Your request to cancel your subscription has been processed. ThePCTuneUp PRO service includes free virus removal, PC tune-up, assistance with printer connection issues, assistance with internet connection issues, and much more- it’s a full-service plan. Thank you and let us know if there is anything else we can help with! “Our goal at SafeCare Software is to leave you with a smile each and every time!” Today I received email from Fastspring.com, headed Safecaresoftware Support stating your payment for subscription to "PCTuneUp PRO" (£18.99) failed. Please sign in to update your payment details and avoid subscription cancellation. Your subscription will be automatically cancelled 18/07/2022. Fortunately I had previously closed my Paypal account to prevent these odd subscription renewals. Until recently I had not realised these dodgy companies were able to auto renew via Paypal, without my knowledge. Beware!!

GBBUYER BEWARE! After seeing that the driver updates from this "company" didn't work, I turned around the first day to cancel the subscription that was supposed to have been a one time charge for a year. However they sent an email informing me that a monthly charge would be coming out of my checking account within two days. I had to call my bank and cancel the debit card to prevent a charge that I never authorized or agreed to... buyer beware... THIS IS A SCAM! DON'T RESPOND TO ANY EMAILS FOR PAYMENT MANAGEMENT, CALL YOUR BANK OR STOP PAYMENT THROUGH PAY PAL!

GBI mistakenly committed to a monthly payment I bought this software thinking it was a one-off payment and didn't realise that it was in fact a monthly payment. I am usually cautious about such things but still got caught out. The actual software does the job but not in the way I expected.
