Good service, Missing some big titles though The Service its self is really good. The price is fair, I haven't experienced the issues the other users seem to have had. But, there is a heck of a lot of books and authors that aren't on the service that you'd expect to be. Very few Stephen Kings for example, especially in audio book form. My request, if an employee reads this; add audiobooks for Stephen kings best and most famous works. Add Artemis and The Martian by Andy Weir. I am dyslexic so reading is hard, I very much enjoy listening on my drive to and from work. Your service provides that, so I am very happy with it. I just have lots of books I've always wanted to read/ listen to. Thanks, Jack

I miss scribed :'-( Similar to other reviews. Constantly crashing during books, stops audio but timer continues, have to rewind to get it to start again or it moves forward without audio. Sometimes 10x or more in a single chapter. Have tried every suggestion from tech support, who responded at first but now they seem to be ignoring the problem. Have uninstalled/reinstalled, shut down, reboot, log out/in, updated latest, on and on. Never had a single problem with scribed for years. Problems from the start with everand. No compensation for malfunctioning product. Am considering giving up my subscription and getting a library card just to access the audiobooks, I'm told the selection is quite good and it's free. Listening to a book as I type this and has cut audio/had to rewind 3 times...

Initially delighted - until I found out what I actually got for my money! 😡 Excellent selection of books, but very difficult to find out what the fair usage limits are until you hit them! And I don’t actually think they’re fair at all, tbh! 😡 I subscribed on 30th March, having been a satisfied member of Scribd in the past. Not knowing what the limits were, I ‘flicked through’ several books (as I would do in an actual bookshop) to decide which ones I wanted to read… and now, only 4 days later, I’ve been locked out of most of the books I was interested in! According to my account history I have ‘read’ 19 previews (the sort of thing you can do endlessly for free, on Amazon and Kindle). And I have skim-read a total of 5 books, before deciding which one I wanted to read properly. And now, on the 4th of April, most of the books I’ve saved to read have been ‘locked’ until 1st May! 😡 £10.99 for that, then locked out for the next 26 days? What a joke! 😡

They lie and say they are no limits but… They lie and say they are no limits but you’re lucky if you can read more than one book that you actually want to read in a month. I searched for an author that I like and they had multiple books available so I subscribed from the description page of one of his books and amazing coincidence suddenly none of the rest are now available until two days after my subscription renews. I’ve had a subscription before but this is the last straw. Just shady, scammy nonsense.

I thought that I was going to love this… I thought that I was going to love this app! It seemed even better than Kindle. That is until I opened the app today to find that several of the books I'm currently reading won't be available for 2 weeks, when my membership renews. Apparently I reached my limit. Problem being that I was given NO INFORMATION on what that limit is, or even that there is a limit! If this isn't corrected, I will definitely go back to Kindle!
