Craigslist has really gone downhill… Craigslist has really gone downhill over the years. Postings get taken down for no reason. No customer support. I don't recommend this company.

I have bought and sold many things on… I have bought and sold many things on craigslist. One really has to be on the lookout for scams because. If you are trying to sell a product or service then competitors will flag the hell out of your ads just so you get removed. Let's face it though. It has a terrible interface. There are a lot of really strange people on there and it can be brutal to those who don't know what there doing. At best, you'll be dealing with a 90's themed website (basically wall of text). At worst, you'll be parted with your money without receiving a product. It's a bulletin board without too much moderation or verification, which is good and bad.

CL is the absolute worst site right… CL is the absolute worst site right now...after placing legitimate and legal posts over and over again I get removed for no reason and no explanation whatsoever!! Don’t ever bother posting! On top of it all you see totally obvious inappropriate posts for weeks without getting flagged...who are these clowns !?

Craigslist in the Austin area ROCKS! Not sure why so many people are down on CL, especially in the Austin TX area. I have always had spectacular results selling my stuff on CL. Yes, there are the occasional deadbeats who try to low ball, or who don't show up, and the occasional scammer (who are easy to recognize). But that happens on any board. I love CL.

Worst experience ever Worst experience ever, this was my 1st time using craigslist. After viewing many posts on dog adoptions I made a post to adopt a puppy from a breeder that might have special needs such that they won’t be euthanized. A customer service representative Ms. A. Lieber replied with a nasty email calling me a LOSER who can’t afford to care for a disabled dog, I’m guessing because I’m black I must be a pauper. My suggestion to craigslist is hire competent people who know how to be professional!!!
