Rang to ask for advice on getting a… Rang to ask for advice on getting a certain computer charger. Was redirected to a lawyer site, which did not repond. I paid my $34 fee, And got no response from Andy. I connected again and was going to be charged another $34 fee and get to speak to the deaf Andy again. Still unsure Andy is the lawyer or the computer technician. I am going to attempt to get my money back. Perhaps I could connect with a lawyer through ask .com.

This is a fraudulant website The website advertises that you can join for "$1". What it does not say (in any clear way) is that immediately after you pay $1.. you are ALSO obliged to pay a $55 per month membership fee. I contacted the company less than 1 hour after trying the service (unsuccessfully) and was told that, "my membership was canceled." This would have been fine except when I checked my bank I found out that I was still being charged $55. Customer support said it is impossible to cancel the $55 charge, because I agreed to pay it. (Of course, I was completely unaware of this charge. This is where the fraud comes in.) Low-level staffers are instructed to not refund any money. The only way to get your money back is to talk to senior management. The revenue collected through this deceptive practice is clearly a substantial portion of their income... Or else they would not do it.
