GBSage Dating - Not a fan When I joined 'Sage Dating' I paid for 3 months initially, hopeful but realistic. I accessed this from my phone and was not expecting to see so many adverts which appear over what I am trying to see. When you press the cross to exit them it takes you away from what you were trying to look at. There is little information on potential dates and one video posted was of a man satisfying himself. I reported it and it was eventually taken down but this has left an impression although I appreciate you can't control what others do. In cancelling my subscription early it seems I have now forfeited the right to remain on the site until my subscription ends however long you have left. Why is that!! Not happy.

GBElite Singles is the worst Elite Singles is the worst. The matches are all about 15 years older than me and most live at least 50 miles away, usually more. It’s impossible to contact Customer Services - literally the only contact details to be found, after a lot of searching, is a postal address in Germany! I can’t believe that I keep seeing it rated as eg #4 top dating site! It’s a complete scam (I have been on e-harmony and Match and they were both fine)

GBAVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID EHARMONY is an awful dating site. Please do not be fooled by the 14 day ‘cooling off’ period...... eharmony will fleece you £65 for a pointless personality profile disguised under what they call value compensation!! Not worth a penny. Shameful, unscrupulous scam!

GBDating sites say in their terms and… Dating sites say in their terms and conditions that they won't share your information with any other online dating sites..well that's a lie..the same profiles on various sites &my bestie who I met on one hadn't joined mine but another. They're all scammers and Elite Dating Singles &Match.com are the worst for it. Cancelling before renewal is a nytmare cos they never reply until money is leaving your account &say read t&c's. Complete joke &waste of money..

GBThe decline of online dating is terminal… Internet dating sites were rather good around 2006-2012. Since then they have really gone downhill. So many have become tacky money making machines and are teeming with scammers and fake profiles. It's almost like we've hit the point of diminishing returns there's so many out there and it's the wild west in terms of regulation, so many hidden charges and upgrades. Ultimately, they're just not very good at finding people partners and very good at exploiting the kind and the lonely. A free site, like those old free pen pal sites you used to get in the first few years of the net, say around 1999, would be a breath of fresh air now!
