This app is full of fake profiles from… This app is full of fake profiles from US and abroad. As soon as you join, you'll get tons of likes and messages from fake users to lure you into membership. Based on very limited genuine users and unlimited fake ones, its not even worth 5 bucks taking any membership on this app.

Absolute scam Absolute scam. Signed up from Europe with strict search criteria. On sign-up, said I had 18 matches. I activated paid subscription to see the matches - Uganda, Kenya, Cambodia, and all sorts of random fake profiles. I strongly advise against anyone every getting a paid subscription on this site -- complete waste of money, unless you like to be spammed.

Reported a bug, got banned I wasn't able to finish setting up my account due to a bug. I got in touch with customer support, took a week to hear back. Thought I would try create another account on a different email address as a workaround, and they decided that meant I would be banned from using their services. I appealed this decision but it was denied. Feels like a waste of my time and like I've done something wrong for trying to be helpful and find a solution to my own problem.

Most of them, were divorced with children. No matter the location, always i had a ton of them. Plus, i get permanently banned for unknown reason. At the same time, many profiles had half naked bodies with external link included, but okcupid didn't ban them. Stay away.

I received a number of "likes" whilst… I received a number of "likes" whilst not paying. Like a chump I then paid a subscription to see who these might be from and discovered that none were even on my continent let alone my country. Once paying, I didn't receive any further attention at all for the duration of my subscription. I am not complaining about the latter state of affairs ...I can't blame the site for my not being found attractive, and I should have been suspicious, I now realise, at having apparently provoked such interest in the first place; however, the obvious scam being carried out to goad users into paying is unforgivable. I am sure that this site is not alone in doing this, and I really think all people -whatever gender or orientation- should boycott these exploitative money pits.
