The packaging says 50lb limit, but it seemed to hold my 115lb wife with zero issues as well! The real surprise was how much stress this takes off the rest of your body. Long hikes with a 4 year old The Piggyback Rider has made a world of difference when hiking with my 4 year old. It allows us to go on longer hikes where she can get off and on easily when she gets tired. I highly recommend getting the hip belt attachment. It really helped to distribute my child’s weight evenly across my shoulders and hips. The customer service is also spot on. They respond quickly and will help you get what you need. Great product The Piggyback Rider is a great option for hiking with kids who are too old for the backpack but not old enough to go the distance. This is comfortable and cool to wear with the kids are not on it and is a great alternative to putting them on your shoulders, hip or the traditional piggyback ride.
