WARNING! NO merchandise, NO customer service! But they charge your credit card! I ordered two pots from abode1.com on 4/24/10 and was charged for the merchandise + Fedex ground shipping immediately. On 5/5/10, I finally received a note that the order supposedly had been shipped. The shipment never arrived. The email indicated a tracking number that does not work on the Fedex tracking service. Fedex confirmed that the number was not in their system (yet several shipments from other vendors to our house were all in the Fedex system). Nobody ever answers the phone at Abode1.com, not in any of their indicated departments. You are promised a call back that does not happen. My email to the company first triggered an automated, standardized reply but never a follow-up. In the end, not even any standardized replies were sent to me anymore. The company does not seem legitimate. I have filed complaints against them with the FTC and the Ohio Better Business Bureau (and I wasn't the only one). The company has an "F" rating on the BBB website. I would like to discourage anyone from ordering from this company. Oh, and when you research the company on Google Maps, you even get a picture of their headquarters: It's a residential building in what looks like not the very best part of Cincinnati, OH. There are no business signs anywhere in sight. If this is a legitimate business at that building, I may as well run a multimillion dollar corporation from my modest 3-bedroom house!

WARNING! Do not use abode1 charged my credit card immediately. They did not send the product. After several phone calls and e-mails, they actually did send it about 10 days later. I gather that I am lucky that I got anything at all. I decided I did not want the product. I contacted them numerous times by phone and e-mail about obtaining an RMA and to find out the restocking fee. They do not answer their phone. Ever. They do not answer e-mails either. Now it's been nearly a month. Today I learned from my credit card company that someone tried to use that card to charge an $1800 hotel overseas somewhere about 2 weeks after I placed the order with abode1. This has never happened before and I strongly suspect abode1. I am usually so, so careful about online shopping and stick with amazon.com and paypal or other major retailers. This time I was lured in by a low offered price and took a risk. Big mistake. Do yourself a favor and pass this site by!
