GBDon't expect a refund on any shipping or This is my second review and having had to pay £5 to return a wetsuit through no fault of my own they also do not refund any of the original shipping costs so all in all for one item expect to pay around £11 if it's not right. I'd never use this company again. Stick to Ann's cottage or Amazon where returns and refunds are simple and fair. Please move with the times Lomo.

GBFaulty pre-bent kayak trousers I bought a pair of pre-bent kayak trousers in April 2023. The stitching has come undone on the knee pad and the left seat area has disintegrated and worn through after about 10 wears. That is unacceptable wear for such a small number of uses. They won't replace them as say its fair wear and tear... . I think the fabric is faulty as I have had the same sort previously which lasted years. Very disappointing customer service. I like to support local business but not if the stuff is poor quality.

IELomo watch developed a fault but resolved with excellent customer service I purchased the Lomo watch. The circular metal piece that surrounds the watch face came away from the body of the watch. I did not use the watch much or subject it to extreme use. The fault occurred within 6 months of purchase. I contacted LOMO and to their credit they demonstrated excellent customer service by responding to complaint and posted a brand new replacement watch to Ireland. Lomo did not even want the faulty watch returned. So far, watch has been faultless.

GBPoor customer service Good selection of well priced kit, however very poor customer service. I bought a watch from the shop a week ago and tried to return in as it didn't do the function that I required it to do. There was also some confusion over whether or not there was a battery in it - I thought there wasn't one, but they assured me that there was. However, when I tried to return it the staff in the shop were very defensive, accusing and plain rude, looking for reasons not to refund me the money. In this interaction I was also wanting to buy £35 work of kit as well. First they said that it was working when they sold it. This was not the case. I took it home, tried to make it work but it didn't, so I checked to see if there was a battery in it, apparently there was, though I couldn't seem to find it (?!?!). I was told that it was working 'fine' when it was sold. They then accused me of; taking the protective film off (it was still on), using it (I never wore it), breaking it (it never worked in the first place) marking the screen (a tiny mark that was there when I bought it) and of calling them liars and being aggressive. I was told the battery in it only worked when you removed a sticker from the back of it. Though I wasn't convinced by this information (the staff told me that the buttons worked when they gave it to me, but unless they removed the back of the watch, took off the sticker, put the back case on again, tested the buttons, removed the case, put the sticker back on battery and finally replaced the case, this was not true. Despite my reservations, I duly appologised for the misunderstanding. However, the staff at Lomo failed to back down from the attack and persisted to offensive. Throughout this interaction, it was me that was doing the reasoning and the negotiation, while they were rude and accusing. Furthermore, when I was spoken to, they failed to make eye contact, as if they were trying to cover up their incompetence and embarrassment. All I wanted was to exchange the watch because it did not do the function I thought it did. I have never been treated like this and I don't expect to be. Disappointing.

GBQuality, VFM, helpful and responsive The alpkit of watersports! Good range of stock, a hell of a lot of their own items, which are of good quality and very competitively priced. Website stock levels are accurate and they don't use enticers to get you into the site, only to find out that the items arnt in stock. Some items are really great value - check out their dry bags for example. Like alpkit they can have stock problems, but they are always honest and open about it. Will continue to use for a very long time to come - unless something catastrophic happens!
