GBSimply the Best, I love Mecum and what the company stands for. I often think about how such a large company can put such a personal touch on every transaction. I’m a regular customer and auction attendee. I sold a group of vehicles last year at Kissimmee. Mecum is the best venue to sell a collection and is hands-down the subject matter expert in the industry of collector cars, trucks, motorcycles or anything else related. It made things a little bit easier, and Mecum does everything it can to make you feel comfortable about letting such things live another life in the hands of someone else.

GBTV Coverage has become unwatchable! This is about the TV coverage. Boy, has it gone south in the last few years! They should rename the show: "Mecum Auctions Commercial Extravaganza" (which may or may not be followed by a car auction). There are soooo many commercial breaks (and they get longer and longer it seems). And why do they waste OUR time on these useless "car previews" when John Kraman is going to tell us everything we need to know when it crosses the block? It's just stupid! Do car auctions; cut-out the extraneous BS; and maybe, just maybe, you can cut-down on the commercial interruptions! NAH! I'm gone!

GBAlways a smooth experience with Mecum I attend 2 or 3 of their auctions a year. Sometimes I buy and sometimes sell. Very professional and fair company that is why I only deal with them. I have never had a problem. For someone to say they did not know there was a 10% fee to sell with a reserve is either not truthful or totally in a brain fog. Everything they do is thoroughly explained weeks before and even that day prior to the sale or purchase.

GBBought 3 autos Bought 3 autos. 1 was fine but 2 were involved in front end collisions and the damage was covered up. The 2005 Silverado had a clean Carfax but is severely damaged and put back with incorrect parts. The 2003 Corvette was also in a front end crash at some point. Also the tires were 11 years old and actually falling apart in chunks. Very dangerous to drive. Obviously they don’t go over their autos very thoroughly. Do not buy from them unless you inspect these vehicles in person. They offered to have me re auction them but in good conscience, I could not do that to someone else. At a minimum they should at least make sure that they are safe to drive, but they do not! This is not an opinion, it is a fact. They advertised the truck had a clean Carfax, it did not. A Chevrolet[Dave Kirk Chevrolet] body shop estimates 10,000 to repair correctly. The people who brought it to Mecum to auction did not disclose this info. I would like the name of the person or business who brought it to Mecum, please. Dear Mecum, its the people who bring them to you who are deceitful, not Mecum.
