My son is 5.5 years old and has been… My son is 5.5 years old and has been taking online chess class from Akshay sir since around 5 months. He knew basic chess moves before joining the class. We have seen a significant improvement in his game since the time he has started classes with Akshay sir. He is a very patient coach. As my son is very young, he gets distracted easily. Akshay sir never stops him from discussing topics other than chess. He indulges him for a while, and eventually gets him back on track. This makes the class all the more interesting for children. Also, he always starts the class with a game, rather than with instructions. He lets the child play first, and teaches later. My son enjoys and looks forward to his weekly chess class.
