Poorly run business If you're reading this, you likely googled reviews for Royal Bishop. Learn from me. My credit card was charged a month ago. I never received a tracking number. My order has not been delivered. I messaged (through the website) asking for the status of my order, where it is, what the tracking order is, and finally, whether this was a legitimate business, which was rhetorical at that point. Their only responses were that my order was "confirmed" and they emailed me weeks later to tell me that the business was legitimate, which sounds like what a scammer would say. I emailed a couple of times asking for tracking information and later to inform them I would be filing a dispute with my credit card company. I never received responses to those messages. I posted my review on February 16, and one day later received a message from Royal Bishop offering to rectify the situation by sending me a new set at a 50% discount. I had originally purchased this set in mid-January, so when I had no information and no response to my messages, I ordered a new set from another company and disputed the charge on my credit card. At this point I'm not sure I would ever receive a set if I agreed to their offer, given the length of time it took them to respond to anything, along with the lack of a tracking number and the fact that they only responded to me after I posted a public negative review. In light of their recent attempts to cure the issue, I am amending my review to reflect my true experience, which said experience leads me to conclude that if this company is not a scam, which I do not admit, it is at least a poorly run company and you're better off finding a different source for all your marble chess set needs.

I love chess so much I love chess so much! I was looking for a quality set and I stumbled on this one. And it is absolutely worth it. They come with adhesive pads so you're not rubbing marble on marble. I really wish they still had the white and green onyx set because that's the one I really wanted. It's huge, quality ,heavy and comes with a case for all your pieces . Not really much more that you can ask for ! Amazing 10/10 .

I ordered the marble chess set for my… I ordered the marble chess set for my husband's birthday. Immediately upon opening the box and taking out the first piece, I was very impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of the pieces and the board. After setting it up on the table in the living room, I stepped back and it's truly stunning. Great gift idea, you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful Chess Set I am a Die Hard fan of Chess and my primary hobby is to collect different material chess sets at home and play with my dad so i was looking for a natural stone or marble chess set of good quality for last 3-4 weeks and i found these guys selling a chess set made up of 100% marble so i thought to give them a try.... the delivery was 2 days delay but Man i must say what a antique piece it is.... Awesome it is Among my all collection this Marble chess set is now my personal favourite I have placed this chess in my drawing room so it also fulfills the space as a home decor too.

A great gift or addition to the home The chess set is beautiful! Every piece finely carved and the board is impeccable. But what made the experience amazing is that upon first receiving it, I was moving pieces and dropped the King and broke it. I quickly emailed the company to let them know what had happened. They responded quickly and sent out a replacement piece and a few extras. Couldn’t have asked for better customer service and a great product.
