Our Dog Loves Pawco Our household went 100% Vegan, so it did not make sense that our dog was still eating meat. So I discontinued his Farmers Dog food and ordered Pawco. And I have to say, he loves it and seems to prefer it. We are happy to be a 100% cruelty-free household and so pleased to have this excellent Vegan option for our beloved dog.

Mostly Ok It would be great if PawCo had a messaging service that let you know a few days prior to them getting your order ready. I have had to try different foods for my allergy-prone pup and it would have been great if they had told me ahead of time that they were preparing an order so I didn't get food I wasn't ready for.

Great step in vegan dog food My dog loves his PawCo dinners. I love that no animals were harmed and the packaging is mostly paper. It looks like raw, plant-based "meats" with identifiable vegetables. (I tasted it. My dog likes it more than I do.) As vegan dog food continues to develop, I'd love to see fresher, less processed food. I'd also love to see better eco-friendly packaging. In the meantime, I'm happy with Paw Co. It's definitely a step up from kibble.

My dog flips out over these meals Our beagle, Rosie, who has never been very excited about her food before, LOVES her PawCo meals. She tears into all of them, no matter the flavor. I'm so pleased that she is enjoying real, fresh food, and that we can feel better about her diet and its impact on other animals and our planet. The only thing I don't love is that there are limited plans for how much and how often we get food sent to us. Sometimes when we forget to manage the subscription, we get a whole case before we're ready for it, and since we have to order the large order every two weeks because she's a "large" dog, we can't elect to have it come less frequently, or in a smaller amount; the only option seems to be to pause the subscription. We are running out of freezer space! Overall, though, we are very happy we've found this brand, and so is Rosie.

Finally a fresh, vegan option! This is the first option I've seen for fresh vegan dog food! Kibble is just not great nutritionally, fresh is much better. I trust their recipes since they say they work with animal nutritionists and test their formulas carefully. The subscription is also super convenient and customer service is very friendly and responsive if you need to make any changes to your orders.
