I figured that a painting would be great, and something that even his grandchildren will admire. I chose the best photo of him in uniform and sent 1st art gallery. I received the painting fairly quickly and my nephew's reaction was priceless!

The quality is fantastic! It's getting stretched and framed now. From early comparisons with the original it looks dead-on! Thank you, 1st-art. The entire experience was professional and enjoyable. GBThat the painting looked authentic That the painting looked authentic. I've had several of these over the years from the retail level and always been very impressed with the artists work. I have a Vermeer in an identical museum quality frame, and it looks just like the original and have enjoyed Renoir, Van Gogh. So, they're copies. Very good copies by young and not so young apprentice painters. Very good work.
