They make it so easy… My biggest concern in making a time capsule is that it would be forgotten about. I am so glad the ITCS exists, and that they made the process of recording it so easy.

Experience Registering with the International Time Capsule Society It is wonderful to be able to bury a time capsule, keep a list of the items inside, mention where it's buried; when you'd like it to resurface, and have it officially recorded - the latter thanks to the International Time Capsule Society. It's wonderful to know that my Time Capsule is recorded for the history books in a library record. The one downside, there doesn't seem to be a way to update the status or contents of my Time Capsule online after registering it. If I could, I'd make some updates to my capsule's contents and background info. Regardless, it's wonderful to be a part of this program.
