Convenient location, beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff and incredible wine! We did the full tasting and Hurricane Red quickly became our favorite. You must put this gem on your list!

Tasty wines in a beautiful spot Castle Glen is in a lovely location, and so close to Ashland! Wines on offer have great range. From serious and delicious reds to quafable whites to wine slushies, there is something for everyone's palate. The owner's border collies are delightful greeters. I enjoyed chatting with the welcoming and helpful staff, and the live music was fun! Definitely an easy and relaxing place to go, especially if you live in Richmond or Fredericksburg.

Extremely Annoying I never visited. I sent an email asking about hosting a party and never got a response. Then I got a million emails asking me to rate the winery. So here is your one-star review that you've been harassing me for.

Beautiful winery inside and out Our host was wonderful very personable explaining the different wines. She gave suggestions on her favorites too. My mom and I had a wonderful time bought a couple bottles, one will be going back to California with me. Thank you for the experience

Great wines and atmosphere We have visited Castle Glen several times. Their Merlot and Cabernet are our favorites. We also enjoy sitting on the back screened porch playing any of the board games they have available. One of the only wineries close to Richmond with a good dry red wine.
