Since the last few years of Uber woke messaging in films almost all my reviews are censored and none get published despite in depth critiques of the allegory’s and messaging of the film. Some IMDB votes are more equal than others I would suggest IMDB ratings are fraudulent. We watched (tried to watch) "Smothered", a massively pc, modern and of course hugely UNfunny comedy on Sky Comedy. I went on IMDB, reviewed it and gave it ONE star. Since then, I've checked and mine is the only user rating there. But, the IMDB summary is 7.1 stars! Apparently they use something called "weighted average" which in plain terms means some votes are more equal than others. I will take absolutely no notice of their ratings in future.

I used to turn to you for advice on TV and movies, there is not much point now as it is all weighed towards positive social media instead of reality. It’s impossible to find important films or comments, which change on every refresh. You cannot find old comments, the app is updated with bug fixes constantly. As a software developer from the 80’s, what is the problem? Why improve what was good? Look at Attenborough’s Humans? Where is that? It is a bleak portent of our soon destiny. But i guess, as it is not a tear jerker - you don’t bother?
