GBThe week we spent in Havana was… The week we spent in Havana was marvelous. We stayed in a comfortable, air conditioned room with a local family and daily breakfast consisted of fruit, bread, butter, cheese and plenty of delicious coffee. The selection of restaurants for lunch and dinner were outstanding, very clean and the food well prepared. The music events were unforgettable; the Tropicana, Buena Vista Social Club and Havana Compas allowed us to experience the talents of a wide range of Cuban musicians. It was incredible! It was a lot of fun to ride in classic cars that were beautifully maintained and staffed with personable, professional drivers. The week went by much too quickly. Cuba is a fascinating place and the only thing I would have wished for is more time in the art museum.
