Great experience Great experience! My husband and I wanted our ceremony to be just us. We lived in different states but were coming together in a state that neither of us lived in to do the ceremony. We had limited time there so we didn't want to go to the courthouse to get a license, wait a day, and then get married in the courthouse. This option was perfect. We could do the licensing process online, and we could schedule our ceremony for the time we wanted. It was everything that we hoped it would be.

SUPER simple! My (now) Husband 😊 and I have been discussing marriage since the beginning of our relationship. We really did not want to deal with the hassle of going to a courthouse so we came across Distant Weddings via google. At first we thought too good to be true since we haven’t heard of anyone doing this method before. We are glad we trusted our gut and went with it. If I could give 10 stars I would! If I could give 10 stars, I would.....We were extremely skeptical and nervous using an online wedding service. After going back and forth between countries for 12 years, we were finally in a position to live together permanently in the same country, and felt that getting married would be the best option. I have never experienced such phenomenal customer service. Every phone call, text message or email was answered within minutes. Every question we had was answered knowledgeably and cheerfully. Whenever I had an obstacle, or made an error in paperwork, or needed to make a change, it was resolved immediately. They made the entire process seamless and stress free from beginning to end and addressed any concerns I had immediately. We were married March 11, 2024... The officiant was lovely, pleasant and kind. We needed witnesses provided and everything went smoothly. It was a wonderful experience. Our official certificate was received within days by mail. We needed an apostille stamp for EU country and everything was taken care of for us! I just received the apostille stamp with all needed documentation in the mail, with tracking updates at every step. We are thrilled with this service. I cannot reccomend Distant Weddings enough!!

Very lovely experience Very lovely experience. The application process was relatively quick, easy, and we got frequent updates on what to expect. The ceremony was short, but very sweet. The officiator was very kind, seemed genuinely thrilled for us, and we received our license within the hour. Overall, a wonderful experience. My only complaint is it would be nice to have a Microsoft Teams option as Zoom can be glitchy sometimes, but it's a very small complaint compared to all the good this experience had to offer. Would 10/10 recommend.

Simple, fuss free process! Such a simple process! I had questions that were answered very quickly. I missed the call back but they texted me the response and I loved that as a busy working mom. Our officiant Chad was so professional, warm and genuine. Totally recommend using distant weddings.
