Unearth your past gracefully I thought I had a difficult time with my mother and rarely thought of her as compassionate, caring or loving.However, when looking at old photos to post along with an answer to one of those Monday morning, “tell us about when….” questions i unearthed feeling that must have been hidden away. I saw her holding my dad in a loving embrace. Her eyes were focused on him and there was joy in her eyes. I hadn’t seen that love or that joy. It forced me to look deeper into her life and her struggles after her illness. I recognized my own complicity and began to stop seeing myself as a victim. She became my mom who tried her best to take care of me.

Sometimes it seems like a chore writing every week, but since my parents have been gone for some years now, I truly wish my mother had done something like this. To pass on family information and history is priceless. It all happens very smoothly and I’m sure when I reach the end I will be so glad I persevered.

Easy to use... limited cover options The book writing process was pretty straightforward. I was frustrated at times because some of my "saved stories" would disappear end up getting put put back in "Questions". And the picture attached was gone. I thought there should be more selection for cover options. I liked the different styles but the color schemes were almost all the same! Coral and pink. They did not fit with the picture we wanted to use. We ended up using a very simple, boring, gray background. Definitely not very interesting!

The company would benefit from making it more convenient to change questions (each time, after you submit the changed question in the list, you must return to the top of the page and scroll to find where you left off).
