This is such a great idea! This is such a great idea! I gifted it to my Mom for Mother's Day last year. The weekly questions were great prompts, but I also liked that we could change the questions to anything we wanted. It allowed my Mom to express the most important and memorable parts of her life. She's now done the writing portion and is adding photos. It will be a great book for me and my brothers to keep forever, and I ordered one for each of my children too. Very happy with how it's turning out and can't wait to see the finished product!!

My LIFE, cronologically configured! Well organized, and thought out! Good "subject" and "question" prompts throughout. "Changes" are quickly reflected. Attaching photos is a nice touch. (Wish that more than one photo could be included with each category ... ??) When finalized, I hope I can layout the subject entries in a fashion that best suits my "book" expectation.

Easy to use... limited cover options The book writing process was pretty straightforward. I was frustrated at times because some of my "saved stories" would disappear end up getting put put back in "Questions". And the picture attached was gone. I thought there should be more selection for cover options. I liked the different styles but the color schemes were almost all the same! Coral and pink. They did not fit with the picture we wanted to use. We ended up using a very simple, boring, gray background. Definitely not very interesting!

I've enjoyed receiving the questions… I've enjoyed receiving the questions each week. I love typing so I can type and type to my hearts content. Looking forward to seeing the finished product. This was a gift from our daughter and it is something to treasure rather than some "thing" that we don't want or need! Great gift idea!

Unearth your past gracefully I thought I had a difficult time with my mother and rarely thought of her as compassionate, caring or loving. However, when looking at old photos to post along with an answer to one of those Monday morning, “tell us about when….” questions i unearthed feeling that must have been hidden away. I saw her holding my dad in a loving embrace. Her eyes were focused on him and there was joy in her eyes. I hadn’t seen that love or that joy. It forced me to look deeper into her life and her struggles after her illness. I recognized my own complicity and began to stop seeing myself as a victim. She became my mom who tried her best to take care of me.
