GBBUYERS BEWARE UPDATE 3/9/24: The only reply from this vendor is to beware of me bc I paid the entire balance before they shipped a poorly made dress 1 month too late. All this vendor does is state their merchandise credit policy but with no communication from 1/23/24 to 2/22/24 obviously they had zero intention of honoring that policy. The only response I received after I received a dress (not the agreed upon design) was remove your complaint to the BBB. This vendor spends more time responding to my reviews and BBB complaint rather than trying to rectify the situation. Not once have they addressed zero response to the emails and calls when the dress never showed up between 1/23/24 and 2/22/24. I will simply provide a timeline so you can decide if this company is reputable 12/11/23 - initial contact via email requesting custom dress based off a particular dress online and short timeframe 12/12/23 - email back that my VM was unclear then a call from a man telling me to send all requests via email form - he would not answer questions on the phone 12/12/23 - 12/14/23 - after numerous emails regarding timeframe (dress needed for 1/27/24 wear date but 1/20/24 arrival in event alterations were needed) and dress design I sent deposit 12/15/23 - email that deposit didn’t reflect upcharge for custom dress so additional amount requested. 12/17/23 - 12/20/23 - after numerous emails regarding details additional deposit amount sent 12/21/23 - measurements sent 1/2/24 - email checking on progress and confirming crystals will be in tulle skirt. Response “noted” 1/13/24 - email checking progress with reminder of wear date and request for a photo of dress 1/15/24 - email that dress almost ready for shipping and request for remaining balance. No photo 1/15/24 - balance sent and email asking for arrival date 1/17/24 - email thanking me for final payment and shipping info to be sent when available. Did not address my request for photo or concerns that wear date is 1/27/24 1/20/24-1/22/24 - multiple calls made and VM left. 1/22/24 - email that wear date is in 5 days and I needed dress prior to wear date in case any alterations were needed. 1/23/24 - email response that shipping will be provided once they hear back from the factory - what this is the first I’m hearing a factory is making my custom gown and not being done in house. 1/23/24 - 1/25/24 - multiple emails stating I needed the dress and how unprofessional it is not to contact me regarding my rush order not being here in time. ZERO RESPONSE 2/22/24 - YES FEBRUARY A MONTH LATER. I receive a box (approx. 8x10x4) with this $3000 gown crumbled and stuffed in the USPS priority box (date sent 2/20/24). I immediately emailed my dissatisfaction with specific details not included yet ordered and paid for as a custom order. I expected no response as they did not respond to my last emails from December. 2/23/24 - complaint filed with the BBB at 9:17am 2/23/24 - email response from Darius fashions at 2:49pm stating I hastily made a claim with BBB and it should be removed immediately. THATS IT!! No response to the details and photos provided to BBB. I immediately responded that over a month late in receiving “a dress” not “my dress” is not hasty. I have not heard back and not only did they denied my request for a refund they didn’t address the late arrival, poorly packed dress or ask what exactly I was unhappy about.

GBThanks Darius Cordell... I was worried about them not taking my measurements. But they told me it was the same thing as when a bridal shop hires a tailor to come in to take their customers measurements so I trusted them. Oddly enough when I tried on my dress it fit perfectly the first time. No alterations needed. Thanks Darius Cordell! I am very pleased.

GBEverything sounded good... I called Darius Cordell back in January. Everything sounded good so I started my order. Sent in the order form and measurements and the deposit. Didn’t hear back from them for a while. So I called to check how things were going. It had only been a month but I still checked. They told me to be patient and wait until the 6 months was up. So I did and in about 4 months they emailed and said the dress was about to be done. I paid my balance and then didn’t hear anything else. About a month later my dress arrived. It was perfect. I was nervous but I am glad I went with Darius Cordell. I got the dress I wanted for about ¼ of what the original was going to cost. Win- Win!
