My First Impression I was very impressed with my conversation and experience with my first purchase. A friend had had success buying from the sight and had found the bottles sound. Provenance is very important and Fine Wine Collector has a good record. I was very impressed with the knowledge about the wines during my phone conversation and the willingness to delay the shipment until an appropriate weather window. To my surprise, I found not only a fount of wines, but also of knowledge about them. And 'a quite pleasant chap with whom to mull it over'. Over more than a decade (how time flies when you're having fun), we've become more than sales staff and customer. Often, we chat more than sell and buy wines.
