Fine Wine Service I didn’t think an online store could match the personal service I enjoy at my local, independent wine shops. However, Jim at Fine Wine Collector proved me wrong. In summary, Jim takes a genuine interest in his customers and does everything he can to provide them an exceptional experience. He called me promptly on the morning after I submitted my online order. He wanted to make sure that the “nice bottle of wine” I purchased would be received safely. Additionally, he took the time to learn about my wine preferences. During our conversation he offered to forward a preview list of a collection he had just acquired. It was right up my alley and it took all the will power I had not to empty my wallet. My First Impression I was very impressed with my conversation and experience with my first purchase. A friend had had success buying from the sight and had found the bottles sound. Provenance is very important and Fine Wine Collector has a good record. I was very impressed with the knowledge about the wines during my phone conversation and the willingness to delay the shipment until an appropriate weather window. I look forward enjoying the wine when it arrives.

Everything was great except shipping Company was great, communication excellent, they even followed up to see that I got the wine. Unfortunately, FedEx ground made receipt a huge hassle. I received multiple delivery notifications, and then the package wasn't delivered on that day. I put a pick-up hold on the package, and it wasn't available for pick-up when they said it would be. The only way I would order from this company again is if they switched delivery to UPS (or something more reliable than FedEx).

Great price for fine and rare wines FineWineCollector(FWC) has long been my top choice for buying loose bottled fine and rare collectible wines.They offer great pricing (amongst the lowest on the net) and frequent updates of new wines.FWC charges reasonable for shipping. The only improvements I would like to see is that FWC offers shipping to more states.
