Scam or no scam… I read reviews and decided to go with… I read reviews and decided to go with Budget Dumpster. They pulled monies out a week before scheduled drop off, delivered after 6pm and picked up a day after I scheduled it. They sent a 20 instead of 10 and said they were doing me a favor. We placed demolition items from 2 small bathrooms and kitchen in dumpster. Followed all rules pertaining what is allowed and felt confident we were well under a ton for weight, and dumpster was about 1/2 full. I received an email saying I was 1.4 tons over!!!! They immediately withdrew additional charges from my bank. Called company when I received notice and they told me…4 days ago, they will check with ‘weight company’ and call me back. No call back, so I called again to inquire. Was told no results yet, that the dumpsters go directly from my house to scale so it’s not possible. REALLY…so I’m lying about what was in dumpster. I wasn’t allowed to speak with manager and must contend with waiting… Until they prove me wrong…THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM, relying on naive homeowners doing a remodel, accepting their rules and expecting integrity from the company they contracted with. UPDATE It’s 7 days…still no call back from company to discuss. I’ve called in 3 times, still unable to speak to supervisor. Time to go to corporate to see if they have professional folks that can assist with scam. UPDATE I found out the only way to communicate with ‘Corporate’ is thru email. I did this a week ago and receive a reply simple stating that’s what we weighed therefore it’s what you pay. No consideration required, fees stick! So corporate is well aware of the FRUAD/SCAM! They are allowed to alter the weight of the container between pickup and weighing station, as simply as that. Take pictures of each and every item before pickup, let’s see if this can be stopped!

Dumpster was delivered on time and… Dumpster was delivered on time and placed right where we wanted. I had a question and the response time was immediate. The dumpster was picked up on time as well. Plus the price of the rental was much lower than other places.

backdoor ripoff Budget did deliver and pickup as scheduled, they also have a back-door charge of overage fees. A 1000lb limit on a 10yrd container? So I limited my renovation trash to 8 bags of drywall debris and some lumber. barely 1/4 of the cubic footage avalible. Still got charged an overage fee!? the normal comsumer will never weigh what they throw away! come on- what a scam! never got a heads up just a mystery charge to my card!

Great service. The dumpster was both delivered and picked up within the scheduled times. There was clear communication from Budget Dumpster and their staff. They made it easy to utilize their services.
