I love these freezer ready meals I love these freezer ready meals. The pheasent curry and the pheasent in tarragon sauce are my two favorite from the range. The pheasent curry is a fantastic replacement for my weekly 'just eat' order. Cheaper and more delicious, happy days! I genuinely cannot reccomend these meals enough!

Sustainable Wild Food for better health First off I was attracted to this young County Durham company when I read about Mel Phipps and her brilliant concept of creating freezer meals for two using wild meat - a virtually untapped healthy and sustainable food source. I ordered three different choices, using pheasant or venison and stored them in my freezer. The packaging is excellent and recyclable. The first meal my husband and I sampled was pheasant in tarragon sauce. The smell of the cooked meal was exciting and mouth watering. We were not disappointed. Both of us found it delicious. Subsequently, we went on to taste the others dishes I had ordered. Again, totally delicious with plenty of meat and a real 'home cooked' taste, although this product could easily be mistaken for the best fine dining at a top restaurant. I have now ordered more dishes earmarked for future dinner parties. I won't even be claiming them as my own cooking because I want everyone to know about this superb product! I wouldn't be surprised if this company soon goes national. It certainly should.

Nothing like the game meat I have eaten before... My wife bought some of the Girl Gone Wild meals at our local farm shop. I was a little bit unsure at first - as pheasant and venison always tasted a bit too gamey for my liking. We first tried the pheasant in a creamy tarragon sauce. It was absolutely delicious - full of flavour and nothing like the game meat I had eaten before. A few days later we tried the venison meatballs...again blown away by the taste and combination of flavours. We are going back to the farm shop as I am very keen to taste the rest of the range.

Delicious food with proper flavours… Delicious food with proper flavours (yum curry) and quick delivery. Also, really innovative and a sustainable way to eat meat. Not quite enough to convince my veggie boyfriend but great to have in the freezer for when he's away.

Utterly delicious and simple to cook Utterly delicious! I have filled the freezer with these meals, they are so simple to cook, made with the finest ingredients and bursting with flavour. I love that you can choose what to have with them, we often have the meatballs with pasta but have also had them with a baked potato - equally good. I would also very happily serve them to guests and pretend I made them myself, they taste so fresh as if they have been made at home and you can tell that no corners have been cut on making sure they are as delicious as can be. The curry is a complete winner and has changed my mind about pheasant! My husband is now very disappointed if we aren't having a GGW meal, my cooking is clearly not as good. Thank goodness for GGW, you've made our lives so much easier and tastier.
