All the meals are very flavoursome All the meals are very flavoursome. They are a really good alternative to other ready meals and the fact that they are game based provides a very different meal to those available from other providers. Also they are easy to prepare and joy of joys the plastic film comes off in one piece [a pet hate with other providers] We have been eating them for about a month now and have a freezer draw full of GGW meals.

Sustainable Wild Food for better health First off I was attracted to this young County Durham company when I read about Mel Phipps and her brilliant concept of creating freezer meals for two using wild meat - a virtually untapped healthy and sustainable food source. I ordered three different choices, using pheasant or venison and stored them in my freezer. The packaging is excellent and recyclable. The first meal my husband and I sampled was pheasant in tarragon sauce. The smell of the cooked meal was exciting and mouth watering. We were not disappointed. Both of us found it delicious. Subsequently, we went on to taste the others dishes I had ordered. Again, totally delicious with plenty of meat and a real 'home cooked' taste, although this product could easily be mistaken for the best fine dining at a top restaurant. I have now ordered more dishes earmarked for future dinner parties. I won't even be claiming them as my own cooking because I want everyone to know about this superb product! I wouldn't be surprised if this company soon goes national. It certainly should.
