GBTwo of us had calimari for a stater Two of us had calimari for a stater, it was like tough rubber and inedible and soaked with oil. One of us had a vegetarian halumi burger which was awful, dried out halumi which was inedible accompanied by dry inedible fries. Another had fish and chips and again dry fries with "mushy peas", peas which gave the impression of mashed frozen peas with mint and served cold. Three had breast of lamb and we were unanimous the lamb was the best we had ever eaten, it was beautiful unfortunately the sprouting broccoli was raw. It was doubtful the broccoli had felt boiling water and was sooooo salty it made your eyes water, totally ruined the meal. One had beef bourguignon pie which they enjoyed however they were charged extra for asking for fries as opposed to the mash from the menu. I cannot fault the staff aside from the chef who served some courses in a filthy apron, very odd. Would I return, absolutely not.

GBVery poor staff attitude Very poor staff attitude A place we go a lot. I have left good 5 star reviews in the past. However this lunch time the duty manager had a very poor attitude. Bad enough to make me leave sooner than otherwise I would have. Politeness and curtesy costs nothing. I see they are advertising for staff, well I don’t see why anyone would want to work there if the attitude I was served is typical.
