We These smoothies are a great, healthy way to stretch our food supplies while getting our phytonutrient fix. I am a diabetic, so I use the predominately veggie low sugar smoothies, my husband uses the others. We add a scoop of protein powder and maybe almond milk and a cup of ice. Fresh ingredients, perfect tasting combinations and my older mother told me she felt really good after drinking the first one and could tell this was better than what we had given her before.
