We have been very pleasantly surprised… We have been very pleasantly surprised by the entire Hungryroot experience. We’re only in our 4th week but we have promptly received everything we’ve ordered, the food is tasty, easy to prepare and exactly as described. The portions are generous, often with left overs. Nice to have new recipes/flavors.

Some kinks but yum The shipment was delayed a day, which I understand but I didn’t get the email u til dinner time so we had to figure out dinner that day. All items were cold. How do I know which items are to be refrigerated? The beef bowl was a hit with my family!

Exceeding my Expectations My first delivery came on a hot day and everything was still chilled nicely, even for the afternoon delivery. So far I have absolutely loved the flavor of everything I’ve tried. There’s so many good choices and no shortage on food that’s dairy free (I’m lactose intolerant). I’m getting cooking experience and beginning to love it and genuinely look forward to making my meals after work. I live alone and the meals usually make an extra serving or two so I can easily spread out the meals throughout the week without needing an extra trip to the grocery store. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this service and my only regret is not finding it sooner!

A terrific meal service with many options.… The have many great options that have been good, even when we let them do the ordering and surprise us. I like that they mix up grocery & snack items with recipe items. I rarely have to go to store which is great! Also appreciate that they offer plans for special diet needs. It's nice to not have to wash and cut up a lot of veggies.. it's just a break and such a time-saver... but they also will send you more to do if you choose. Many of the items are new to us, so they're fun to try, especially since it seems that most are nutritional. They certainly have healthy options. Plus their customer service is terrific!! They are prompt to answer questions and very professional and kind. So far we are very happy.
