CleanTalk is worth its weight in gold CleanTalk is worth its weight in gold. Tried several other plugins, and they are either too complicated and need to many adjustments, or require loads of money to work with specific kits, hosting and plugins. CleanTalk does not do any of that. Tested the free version - no spam whatsoever, moved onto a different plugin, despite all the good reviews, spam bots are back with a vengeance. Eventually bought the subscription - just the clean submission inbox - without crypto offers and mail order company - is worth the money.

Cheap and Effective I use CleanTalk since 2017 (yes, 7 years) and it blocks all known spam. It's very useful due his dynamic database, so every new dangers is recognized in few time. Really suggested.

Great Support The service does what it claims to... That is already cutting down spam registration on my sites and email spoofing. But my reason for a 5-star rating is customer support. My sites are hand coded, and for some reason, either the site setup or my poor coding, the plugins failed to work at first. After an intensive investigation, the guys at Cleantalk tweaked the plugins to fix the issue with my sites. Almost all my support requests were answered within an hour. Customer service is above and beyond.

Good price. Easy to install and use. It's been easy to install and use. I'd like to know more about what was blocked beyond the country sources, but so long as I'm not seeing spam comments or receiving complaints, I'm good. It's less expensive than Akismet, which used to be free, but thanks to Automattic became a bit too expensive for a hobby site. I want to protect my site, but I'm not a Rockefeller. This hit the sweet spot on features and price and has been doing a good job so far.
