I was very confused by this industry, my old processor wouldn't share any details with me, after hours of being on hold with them, transferring me to all sorts of people in india, i finally got some PDFs which made zero sense and impossible to read (definitely this credit card company being shady). Ben analyzed them and told me there was a huge opportunity for savings and helped set everything up. Only down side was we had to get everyones credit card again because our old system would not export the data to try and hold us hostage.. but after about 6 months we were able to do it.
