I needed help with perimenopause, but the DR. said she couldn't help. I reached out for help with perimenopause services and was told that this was indeed the right place to get these services. Unfortunately, when I paid and then met with the doctor, she was surprised since she said they only work with PCOS and not perimenopause. I have been asking for a refund for over a year to no avail. The customer service person has been fractious. Beware--they want to make the sale so they misrepresent services.

I have struggled with PCOS for 10… I have struggled with PCOS for 10 years. I was hopeful for this company, but was pushed the same medication all the other docs I have seen focused on. No mention of nutrition and how to manage things outside of medication. I was super disappointed. :(

My doctor pays super close attention to my labs My doctor pays super close attention to my labs, and uses that info to create a customized treatment plan for me, and iterates as needed. She notices the slightest improvements, or whatever needs to be stepped up. She doesn't settle for a "normal high" or "normal low", neither does she slam me with a "one-size-fits-all" treatment for PCOS (e.g birth control). She wants me to have an optimal health. She doesn't dismiss my fears. I trust that she's on my side. My dietician checks in on me weekly. Outside appointments, I can reach out to any of these folks at ANY time to ask questions. So far, I have been enjoying good care at Allara. Grateful.

Dissapointed with all the supplements All they want to do is add supplements. They must be getting some sort of kickback because every appointment they are suggesting a different supplement. It's not even good science! Don't change every variable - change one thing and see what works. The nutritionist won't give a meal plan or work with you to build a plan. They set goals and tell you to check their book. I joined when I was desperate and without a doctor, but the supplements they've given seem to have only made my symptoms worse.
