GBMy Perimenopause Journey: Finding the Right Support with MIDI When I started going through perimenopause, it was a really tough time for me. I was dealing with mood swings that had me crying all the time, brain fog that made it hard to focus, and weight gain that I couldn't explain. I went to my primary doctor and gynecologist for help, but they brushed off my concerns and just wanted to put me on antidepressants. It wasn't until I reached out to MIDI and talked to Anna Lederman that I finally felt like someone was listening to me and taking my experiences seriously. Anna and I have been working together for the past two years, and she's been amazing every step of the way. She always made sure to explain everything clearly and help me understand what we were doing and why. We've had to make some adjustments along the way, but we stuck with it, and now I can honestly say that I feel like myself again. The mood swings are gone, my head is clear, and I've been able to get my weight under control. I'm so grateful to Anna and everyone at MIDI for their support and expertise. If you're going through perimenopause and feeling like your doctors aren't hearing you, I definitely recommend giving MIDI a try. They really do care, and they'll work with you to find the solutions that work best for your unique situation. Don't lose hope – there's help out there, and MIDI is a great place to start.

GBAll lies Tells you your insurance is covered then after doing all the paperwork and scheduling they come back and say they don't take your insurance. What a scam. Update: their list of insurance companies are the ones they say are covered and then come back and say they aren't and tell you will have to pay cash.

GBvery poor service- nurses are not very… very poor service- nurses are not very knowledgeable- disconnect between Midi systems and lab request, so you may show up for labs and get turned away.

GBTheir website info about insurance is false I went through scheduling after checking their website where it states that they accept my insurance as in network (FL - Blue Cross PPO). Shortly after scheduling and completing the paperwork, they cancel my appointment and reschedule it at a different time. Not a great first impression. The night before my appointment, they send me an email that my insurance does not cover their visits - in or out of network. Again, according to their website it is covered, otherwise I would not have booked. This was very misleading. Clearly their website isn't accurate about the insurance providers that work with them. I canceled.

GBDo not recommend! My visit was with a nurse practitioner who made assumptions about my health without even asking me about my symptoms (ie- you’re not having any hot flashes. Not true! Yes, I am ). She also contradicted herself by saying menopause is treated by symptoms and not labwork yet says my estrogen level shows I’m not in perimenopause. As a physician , I would advise you to stay clear of this company. They don’t take the time to truly understand your symptoms nor do they have access to your previous lab work or work up. I am going to follow up with my own gynecologist who takes the time to understand my health issues, and who also takes my insurance coverage.
