GBI still cannot describe the "odor"… I still cannot describe the "odor" after Sleep8 finish its cycle: it is not as the smell after rain (that one I do like), but the smell I get during and after the cycle is not pleasant (is not noxious)... Not sure if its the blue bag, the charcoal or what... I have cleaned the whole water receptacle, tube and mask, I've tried only the tube, but in all, the odor remains the same... Is it possible I am not using it correctly? Is it normal?

GBGreat little machine Works as described, super easy, plus I can store it away during while not in use - unlike the competition which requires a constant night table area.

GBOverall a very good product Overall a very good product. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the power cord. It doesn't seem to seat firmly into the unit, so it doesn't always charge. However, it sure beats messing with manually cleaning my cpap every day!

GBThe chemical smell is real. Yesterday was my second time using the Sleep 8 Device Kit. It's extremely simple to use which is exactly what I was looking for. However, there was a strong chemical smell the first night after using it both times. I tried running my CPAP machine for 30 minutes before putting my mask on which helped a little bit. If it were just the temporary smell, I would live with it but last night I felt burning around the outside of my nostrils and had to stop using my CPAP. This morning, the outer edges of my nose are red and sore. Could it be a chemical burn? I can't say for sure. Buyer beware - the chemical smell noted in other reviews is real.
