GBThe chemical smell is real. Yesterday was my second time using the Sleep 8 Device Kit. It's extremely simple to use which is exactly what I was looking for. However, there was a strong chemical smell the first night after using it both times. I tried running my CPAP machine for 30 minutes before putting my mask on which helped a little bit. If it were just the temporary smell, I would live with it but last night I felt burning around the outside of my nostrils and had to stop using my CPAP. This morning, the outer edges of my nose are red and sore. Could it be a chemical burn? I can't say for sure. Buyer beware - the chemical smell noted in other reviews is real.

GBOverall a very good product Overall a very good product. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the power cord. It doesn't seem to seat firmly into the unit, so it doesn't always charge. However, it sure beats messing with manually cleaning my cpap every day!

GBTerrible delivery process - rated "0" I received my Sleep8 system from Sleep8 yesterday, 16 days after I placed my order. I haven't tried it yet. Sleep8 use UPS Innovations to deliver their products. It was absolutely the worse delivery experience I have ever experienced. This had nothing to do with bad weather. UPS Innovation may save sellers money but it is Snail Mail on steroids. Sleep8 has a terrible delivery process. The time needed for delivery is unclear when you place your order. You are not given a choice for quicker delivery. Had I known how long this was going to take to be delivered, I would have selected a different cleaning system. I will be careful not to use any seller that utilizes UPS Innovations for shipping going forward. Hopefully the unit will work well (I couldn't cancel it after it had been shipped).

GBI like the ease of use of the system I like the ease of use of the system, and would rate the product higher if the smell was not so obnoxious. After each cleaning, I have to wash everything in order to get rid of the smell. This totally defeats the purpose of using the machine which I had hoped to use at home and when traveling. After I started using the product my allergies became worse due to the strong ozone smell. If this problem could be eliminated, I would keep it. Otherwise, I have invested money in a product and an extra bag that is not useful. I wonder if there is any evidence that the smell/ozone could be harmful to someone who has respiratory allergies? I would appreciate a reply and references to support the answer. Thank you.

She listened to my needs patiently and showed me different choices during my visit enabling me to make a good choice with my bed.
