I believe in the power of traditional healing practices, but I don't support a person named Isabelle Gray (current alias: Isabelle Gold) I believe in the power of traditional healing practices, but I don't support a person named Isabelle Gray (current alias: Isabelle Gold) There are many places nowadays where people can experience ceremonies involving plants for healing, but I chose to go to Holos because of a talk by Ian Michael Hebert. One thing he said that really stuck with me was that he's one of the few people from his graduating class that he would trust to guide people through experiences with substances that can change the mind. This made me think he has very high standards for his work and the people he works with. Unfortunately, these high standards weren't present for his co-facilitator, Isabelle Gray (current alias: Isabelle Gold). There are several reasons for this, and I won't list all of them here. The first issue was her lack of experience in psychotherapy, which was obvious. She relies on intuition, but it seems more like she's making things up, as she goes along. She even called herself a "medical seer," and tried to guess my medical issues, which were completely wrong. She then said I needed to pay her for private sessions to clear out more energy from past relationships. While I agree that such energies can affect us, I'm highlighting her unprofessional and sloppy approach to "therapy." Maybe it's a small thing, but she changed her last name from Gray to Gold to attract wealth, mentioning that it worked for Jewish people. This seems insensitive. At another ceremony, she seemed disoriented as she stumbled around the rocks in a stupor. All while she was supposedly facilitating. Throughout the week, she consistently tried to sell her expensive $850 online programs as a solution to various women's issues. If someone mentioned a struggle like hormonal problems or cancer, she would privately tell them that her program would fix it. A few of us talked about her behaviors, but none of us wanted to confront her. However, as plant ceremonies are becoming mainstream now it's important not to blindly trust anyone who offers them. Because of the problems I've mentioned and other issues I won't discuss, I can't honestly recommend Holos Global.
