My boxer mix was taking phenobarbital… My boxer mix was taking phenobarbital for seizures. He was having one grand man every 8 weeks or so. I started weaning him off the phenobarb with my Vet’s guidance and substituted the Relax formula. He hasn’t had a seizure since we started that in March. He hardly takes any phenobarbital any longer! Our golden boy was diagnosed with… Our golden boy was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in his brain. Oncologist said that there’s no treatment and he had 3-6 months. Well that was 4 1/2 years ago. Feeding raw, no carbs except for what is in green vegetables and some supplements he beat it! The tumor was gone, we had a skull series done. I’ve used several brands of CBD. A year and a half ago he got kidney failure at about 11 years old and I started using the CBD with Passion flower. It worked so well! He was kept comfortable til we made that decision. Now I have a foster on Phenobarbital that I’ll reduce and use the passionflower! It’s working so far ! ! !
