I suddenly started suffering from… I suddenly started suffering from severe headaches 3 years ago. I went to a migraine specialist, neurologist, had nerve block injections, tried medications and Accupincture. Nothing held for more than 24 hours. I moved to Connecticut a few months ago and started seeming Dr Brian and Reuben at Core Health. Dr Brian was very quickly able to identify the type of headache I was having after my x-Ray, which was done on the spot and read immediately. We began work on it 3 times per week. So far, I have had no more headaches! I have extreme light sensitivity when I have these headaches. To be able to open my curtains and spend time outdoors has been wonderful! Acid reflux, neck, shoulder and headache problems. I went to Dr. McKay for chronic neck problems which he diagnosed as all likely being inter related to my TMD and shoulder problems during the initial comprehensive medical history and evaluation. He also noted my acid reflux and asked if I had ever been evaluated for hiatal hernia, which I have. He then explained some innovative treatments he uses to help correct hiatal hernia/acid reflux issues, which I never even knew existed! Very pleased with results to date Having been to chiropractors in the past, I knew that Dr. Brian McKay would be able to help me, but, it was not going to be a few quick visits and done. My pain level escalated slowly over a long period and patience is required to end up feeling your best. He definitely reduced some of my pain on the the first visit and I have been going a few times a week for about three weeks now. Definitely feeling improvement. Dr. Brian took his time reviewing my x-rays with me and discussing treatment, expected timelines and results. It was important for me to be able to have a clear idea as I will be working a huge conference in mid-October and was concerned if I would even be able to make it there. Everyone in the office is extremely pleasant and helpful. The decor is calming and extremely clean. Dr. Brian is always upbeat and has a great sense of humor. They are conveniently located and I stop in early before heading into work. I'm happy that I chose his office and that they were willing to see me so quickly on an emergency appointment one Saturday. Would highly recommend him.
