About tapouts

tapouts coaches focus on wellbeing, emotional understanding, and mindsets, so your kids can grow up with skills we wish we knew back then. Once-a-week group coaching is at our core — with games, open sessions, and mentoring mixed in.

My son has really enjoyed his sessions… My son has really enjoyed his sessions so far. The coaches know how to keep the kids engaged and break down the concepts so that they’re easy to remember. He also loves being in a group with other kids that are experiencing similar things.

Our daughter hasn’t stuck with anything… Our daughter hasn’t stuck with anything as long as she has engaged with tapouts. It’s not a struggle getting her to join each week, though we do allow a week off here and there. Her coach’s amazing. Very personable.

Great Experience I have nothing but great things to say about tapouts. My daughter looks forward to her session with her group each week. She now refers to there others is her group as friends. She is learning valuable skills for life in a fun way.

Wonderful Intro to Social Emotional Learning I enrolled my daughter so she would have a safe space to talk about her feelings. We homeschool and found that about half of the other learners in her cohort also homeschool. That was an interesting surprise. The classes are a bit short at 30 minutes. My daughter doesn’t get to share quite as much as she would like to but the SEL is covered and that’s the main reason for the class meetings. The teacher is kind but structured. I recommend this class to every parent! The “soft skills”being taught are things I wish I had learned as a child.

Therapy is helping After using the weekly tapouts sessions for almost two months, my 12-year-old son told me out of the blue, that "therapy is helping" and that he remembered to use a breathing technique when he needed it, and it worked! He loves doing the weekly sessions at home in the comfort of his room, and he likes playing the fun games.
