Been there, done that
GBUnfortunately this was my 2nd time… Unfortunately this was my 2nd time going through alcohol detox. I didn't know until Gallus, that it did not HAVE to be an excruciating, grotesquely painful, utterly miserable experience like it was the first time. The difference was night and day. I cannot compliment the staff enough. They are a true medical facility. Unlike the previous center (which wasn't that much cheaper!) they ran an IV, got me hydrated, and started taking care of me immediately. No embarrassing strip search. No treatment like a criminal or a degenerate. They treated me like a real human being, with empathy and kindness, and a solicitous nature that took care of my every need. Never once was I in agony. They truly cared about my mental health as well as my physical health, and my physical comfort. I can't stress enough how amazing they were. My nurses (shoutout to Chris!) were incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Everyone was. It's a very nice facility. I think celebrities go there because not only are you whisked in a back door with no signage to give away where you're going, you can attend using an alias. The rooms were almost like staying in a small hotel room. There are only 6 rooms on the facility. When I went, there was only 1 other person, and I never saw him. (Good. No-one wants to socialize during detox.) The bathroom was very nice. Granite, tile, etc and it was very clean. The environment feels homey. There are no group sessions you must attend or forced interactions. Best of all, the food! They order Door Dash for lunch and dinner, from many of the yummiest places near downtown Scottsdale (which are prolific with gastropub type casual eateries.) Anything you want, no limit, they order it (or let you order it on an iPad!) I ate SO well there. It really helps you regain your strength with good food in your belly. I hadn't eaten that well in months. Overall, I highly recommend it. I traveled to get there, and it's worth it. (BTW, don't drive yourself. There's no parking due to it being smack dab in the middle of Old Towne Scottsdale. They sweetly gave up an employee spot for me, but it's rare for someone to arrive alone in their own vehicle.) I'm happy to say I'm enjoying sobriety and grateful they got me past the physical hump. (Friendly advice- continue medical support after you're released. ) Gallus was worth every penny. I'm so thankful to them for helping me get my life back in a pain free way. The first facility gave me PTSD from how they treated me (or didn't, let me suffer in absolute agony for 2 1/2 days.) If you're serious about getting clean and sober and want it to be as "nice" an experience as possible, these are your people. 6 stars out of 5.

GBI’m going to tell you all a story here I’m going to tell you all a story here. I was hired to this company back in June. There were a few things off but I chose to stay and work with this company, I was hired as the DON. The building construction was being done in, had so many issues, there was no project manager, no one knew what was going on with the buildout. Doors did not have the correct hinges, there were no patient beds, a clinic that was supposed to open up in August did not end up opening up until November. There were late payments to the construction team, rent was late $300,000 plus, AT&T internet not paid on time, labcorp not paid on time, company credit cards not paid, unable to order lab tests for patients, unable to order food for patients, we had tons of crates that came in from LAs Vegas, a truck driver was hired but no movers were hired. Myself and another woman had to assist in bringing down 100 ton crates (with the truck driver), we had to unpack the crates, there was no business development team and I had to be that for this company. Between late nights, long days, working outside of my job description (something you do for a company). They filed for bankruptcy, did not include our location in Houston, told us we would not get closed down, we opened in November, a month later on December 8th 2023 we were told we were closed immediately. We were let go, no stipen, no severance and told we would get a paycheck on Tuesday and today is Tuesday, no one received their money. 18 staff members $0, we have been quiet through all of this, we worked hard and the money we worked for no where to be found. Please how can you take care of your patients but not your staff? The CEO and COO lack integrity, they lack transparency, the definition of wold on Wall Street equates to them. This is Christmas time and just like that… families left with nothing. Merry Christmas

GBAngels on Earth Gallus was an impeccable experience. All staff were beyond kind, loving, understanding, and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone trying to make a brave step towards recovery. Thank you to all the angels that work there. You assured a great start to my new path.
