The first hit isn’t strong and instantaneous, so eases you in nicely. It first fills you with a sense of ease and calm alertness i.e. without that “woah” hit of feeling stoned and knowing it’s going to be a slow burner. It’s sort of moorish because of the gentleness to it. Half way through, the high sets in slowly, like a calm wave. The bitterness and sweetness combine in your mouth. It does make your mouth quite dry (it did mine) so keep a drink nearby as you’ll want a decent gulp of something sweet and refreshing (like washing down ice cream with lemonade) after a few minutes. Finally, you feel like time slows a little towards the end of the joint. Relaxed yet aware - it’s a nice feeling. I was so calm and euphoric, I felt like doing some meditation and deep breathing. It felt amazing. I was left with a feeling of complete body numbness and happiness but alert and energised at the same time. Highly recommend.
