USWould not recommend I had an appointment at a local office of Audibel in Hamilton, New Jersey on 2-22-24. I was waiting and waiting and finally I called to see if my hearing aids were ready. No response. Called again. Same thing. So I went to Penn Medicine and ordered hearing aids from them. I just wonder what kind of an operation gives you a hearing test and no follow up. Strange....

USThe products are lower quality than Oticon The products are lower quality than, say an oticon. My insurance was paying $6,000. Audible office in Melbourne (now closed) “John” ordered the crummiest hearing aids they sold, hoping that I would accept them. I did not, this was just the start. I finally got invisible in the canal, like the oticon I had. John tried like crazy to eliminate the hissing and warberling. After many tries of sending them back and tuning I had enough and just took them and figured I would just live with them. And then they broke, rebuild time, not even one year under warrantee, then broke again, and again, and again. Now costing me $400 per repair, 1 year warrantee. Then the office closed in Melbourne and I had to drive 5 towns away. Another two repairs, getting expensive. And that office closed too, now I have to go to Orlando, 60 miles away for another repair. Top it all off they DON’T sound good, lots of hiss and background noise. If I am in a restaurant, I can hear the kitchen clatter, but not the person sitting next to me. Save yourself the grief, don’t buy audible Starkey brand. My honest $.02.

USI've already written a review on Google… I've already written a review on Google so I won't go into a lot of detail here. I just wanted to add another one with 5-stars. I went to the Ocala, FL office for mine and highly recommend both Mateen, at the front desk, and Paul who helped me greatly with my hearing! Folks, you won't disappointed if you go there!

USThis is an update to my review on… This is an update to my review on February 3,2024. The experience I wrote about was all valid and all that I described happened but shortly thereafter I received a call from the supervisor in Baton Rouge, LA, who said to me that the situation did need to be remedied. I was beyond grateful because up to that point I felt that they didn’t care. New hearing aids with the cross wave technology were ordered for me and they use regular batteries instead of the digital ones that were so unreliable for some with such severe hearing loss. In addition to that I was referred to Michelle Macione at the Slidell, LA Audible office to get the new aids. Ms. Macione was wonderful and she adjusted the aids so that I am now hearing so much better than ever before. She will continue to adjust them to provide an even better hearing experience as my brain acclimates to each adjustment. I am so pleased to have the benefit of her abilities and experience and I intend to continue to go to that office for all future appointments. I am so grateful to the supervisor in Baton Rouge and to Ms. Macione for their provision of service and restoring my faith in Audible.

USDo not buy this garbage I have had my hearing aids for nearly a year. I hate these things with a passion. I still can’t hear very well and they are constantly mixing up settings. The app is terrible and it appears that there is some ageism involved here. Instead of being able to control these things yourself, you are given very minimal control and need to run back to the audiologists every time something goes wrong. Music sounds awful. An outdoor situation is untenable because these things seem to be designed for people who don’t move all day. I spent a lot on these things but I hate them so much I am in the market for new heating aids. Believe me, every chance I get to review these things or comment on social media, it will be as negative as possible to dissuade people from buying your crappy product.
