Don't touch Irene Howcroft and her… Don't touch Irene Howcroft and her kennels with a barge pole. She talks the talk, but don't be fooled. Good reviews are either coerced or written by employees. She and her kennels are a sham. I have spent time with one of her dogs and found this dog over excited, difficult to control, nervous and hungry for love and attention, probably from being locked up for so long. I feel very sorry for these dogs as they appear to be bred for nothing more than the money. Be careful she is not as she appears.

Our experience with Ruidoso Malinois… Our experience with Ruidoso Malinois was exemplary. Irene asked a lot of questions during her screening process. Irene has a serious nature and seems very passionate about her work. My brother is disabled. Irene took the time to ensure she matched up the dog with his needs and abilities. Irene is overly cautious in the safety department. Irene made special accommodations so that we could stay as long as needed to become confident handlers. Her staff were all very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We were especially impressed with how well the grounds where the dogs are housed and trained were kept. The kennels were clean and disinfected. Dogs have clean water and food daily on a schedule. Ayko has become a very important part of our daily lives and family. We are so grateful for him. He is highly intelligent and well trained. Thank you Irene for the love and passion you have for your work. The Elledge family

Best Belgian Malinois Kennel there is. Ruidoso Malinois! If you are looking for a real working Belgian Malinois (Belgian Shepard) then this is the kennel you want to buy from! Irene is the owner/trainer. I have purchased two Mali's from her and in the process of getting a third. From great puppies, to full blown trained and working dogs for police, K9, patrol, personal protection, drugs, fire departments, etc.. Her Mali's have even been in the movies! See her website. She sells to municipalities, state, and federal governments and qualified individuals. Don't be fooled by puppy mills or private breeders. Her dogs are the BEST of the BEST and Malinois's are the greatest dogs on earth. Ask any police officer, soldier or professional trainer. Great dogs from a great kennel that deals in Mali's ONLY! At least 10 stars! My profile photo is my two Mali's- Sam and Liz. :-)

10 out of 5 Highly Recommend We are very pleased with Ruidoso Malinois. Irene was patient, thorough and professional. We are so blessed to have been matched with Lery. He is affectionate, crazy, obedient and can be on task in a second. What a great addition to our family. Also, we would like to highly recommend his trainers and Ruidoso Malinois, Darrin and Brian and Jack. They were fun, professional and highly skilled. Please give them a call for the best cared for and trained Malinois in the world. We highly, highly recommend Ruidoso Malinois. Kindly, The V Family of CA

These dogs become family My name is Vincent and I took the chance to drive from California to New Mexico to get a new dog. The trip was more than worth it and a year later the dog (Kasai) is very happy here at home as am I. When I first met Kasai he was very well exercised, well trained, and had a very good relationship with everyone there at Ruidoso Malinois. I honestly don’t believe that I could have gotten a better dog anywhere else.
